FTTX

In the global technical specification of telecommunication access networks, FTTx‌ (Fiber to the x) is defined as a general term covering a full spectrum of optical fiber access architectures, where the variable "x" denotes different termination points of optical fiber in the last-mile access network.

Allna products fully cover the end-to-end deployment requirements of FTTX networks, from the central office ‌Optical Line Terminal (OLT)‌ to the user-end ‌Optical Network Terminal (‌ONT)‌, and can be systematically aligned with FTTX system architecture and building layouts to enable flexible networking and efficient implementation.

‌Central Office

‌1U standard patch panel‌ centralizes fiber termination and patching within the OLT cabinet, enabling flexible scheduling between OLT ports and main trunk cables.

‌12 Fiber MTP patchcords and ‌12 Fiber ODVA MPO‌ support high-density 40G/100G interconnections in data centers or between OLT devices, enabling multi-fiber parallel transmission.

‌144 Fiber MTP-MTP trunk cable and ‌Multifiber LC-LC trunk cable‌ facilitate long-distance, high-capacity interconnections within equipment rooms, supporting feeder segment links from OLT to optical distribution points.

‌Optical Distribution Network

‌1 x 32 SCAPC splitter ‌is a core splitting component deployed in fiber distribution cabinets or hallway splitting points, dividing one main fiber into 32 distribution lines. Supports wavelength selectivity (SCAPC) for advanced architectures like WDM-PON.

‌9U wall cabinet‌ serves as an ODN aggregation node in hallways or roadside locations, integrating splitters and patch panels to enable cable splicing, distribution, and management. Suitable for hybrid FTTB/FTTH deployments.

‌LC/LC patchcord‌ and ‌LC/SC armored patchcord ‌are used for intra-cabinet device interconnections. The armored version enhances reliability in environments prone to compression or rodent damage.

‌Building & Home

‌MDU fiber box‌: A dedicated fiber distribution enclosure for Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU), installed in hallways to split and protect feeder cables into individual drop cables for each household, supporting centralized management.

‌SC outlet: Mounted on user walls as a terminal interface for ‌Fiber-to-the-Desktop (FTTD)‌, allowing users to connect ONT or optical modems via patch cords for "last-meter" access. 

‌12 color pigtail sets‌:  Used for field splicing, with color coding corresponding to different services or users, facilitating installation and maintenance identification.
